　　July 16 was the first day of toufu (the first period of the dog days), the annual application work of sanfutie plasters treating winter illness in summer kicked off.

　　Under the normalized prevention and control of epidemic situation, Changping District made specific provision about the daily application number, the personnel density in each period and applied field, and the concrete applied process, required the appointment system for sanfutie plasters. The appointment time should be accurate to hours to ensure that both epidemic prevention and control and basic medical treatment were in place.

　　All medical institutions were in good order on the spot. One-meter line tips, entrance and exit signs and posters of precautions for sanfutie plasters were clear. The medical staff carefully applied sanfutie plaster to the patient while patiently telling the patient what to pay attention to.

　　What is the"sanfutie plaster"?

　　"Acupoint application method for treating winter diseases in summer"is referred to as "sanfutie plaster". According to the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, the application paste is made of Xinwen drugs with the functions of removing cold and dredging meridian. During the sanfu period after summer solstice, when the annual temperature and Yangqi are the highest, the application paste is applied to the Zangfuyu point on the back of the human body, so as to achieve the purpose of preventing and treating illness. This method is convenient to use, easy to operate, patients have no obvious discomfort.

　　Who can receive the sanfutie plaster?

　　Symptoms of adaptation: chronic respiratory diseases (bronchitis, bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease); allergic rhinitis; children and elderly people (over 60 years old) who are prone to colds and cough repeatedly (respiratory tract infection) due to body deficiency; TCM syndrome differentiation is mainly Yang deficiency, or mixed cold and heat, mainly cold; it's easy to relapse or aggravation of chronic in autumn, winter and spring with the core of intractable pulmonary diseases (respiratory system).

　　Prohibited population: febrile diseases, febrile period of various infectious diseases and active tuberculosis; coughing and spitting yellow thick sputum, hemoptysis, epistaxis or oral ulcer or other serious internal fire; wounds, ulcers or infected persons on the skin at the applied site; allergic to the ingredients of the applied medicine or dressing; skin allergy, scar constitution.

　　Use with caution: pregnant women and infants under 2 years old; persons suffering from AIDS, tuberculosis or other infectious diseases; patients with diabetes, blood diseases, malignant hypertension, severe cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, severe liver and kidney dysfunction, bronchiectasis, and malignant tumors; the acute phase or exacerbation of a disease.

　　Notice on using the "sanfutie plasters"

　　1. Before treatment, you should know in detail whether this method is applicable to you from a regular hospital.

　　2. Acupoint application is only a means to treat diseases and cannot replace other treatments. Chronic patients who are taking medicine, during the application, do not blindly reduce medication, stop medication.

　　3. Children, the chronically ill, weak and emaciated should be applied for a short time, and should pay close attention to the presence of adverse reactions during the application period. 

　　4. Avoid strenuous exercise and excessive sweating after application to prevent the drug falling off; reduce electric fan, air conditioning to blow as far as possible, lest affect the absorption of medicine.
