Recently, the inauguration ceremony of Beijing Interdisplinary Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Tsinghua University and the Chinese medicine crossover innovation symposium were held in Beijing. It is reported that the institute is the first cross-disciplinary research institute of Traditional Chinese medicine in a comprehensive key university.

　　Based on the department of Automation of Tsinghua University, the research institute is committed to using modern science and technology to research Traditional Chinese medicine and promote the scientific and modernization of Traditional Chinese medicine through the combination of medicine and industry, the combination of Chinese and western, and cross-innovation. Since its approval, the Institute has taken the lead in developing and publishing the first international standard for web-based pharmacology.

　　Tu Zhitao, director of The Beijing Municipal Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, said in his speech that he hoped the institute would set a good example of academic chain-industrial chain-talent chain and promote the rapid development of TCM and integrated Traditional Chinese and Western medicine.
