Dongzhimen Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine officially opened its TCM Special Treatment Center on Oct. 11.
The nursing techniques with traditional Chinese medicine characteristics carried out by TCM Special Treatment Center mainly include: ear point pressing bean, acupoint sticking, cupping, intradermal needle, scraping, moxibustion, traditional Chinese medicine retention enema and so on. On the opening day, patients expressed that not only the characteristic techniques of TRADITIONAL Chinese medicine have good effects and no side effects, but also the hospital can provide personalized nursing services and health education according to individual constitution and symptoms through syndrome differentiation.
TCM special treatment center has opened a new nursing mode of TCM nursing technology from ward to outpatient treatment, which is conducive to making the majority of patients more convenient to enjoy the traditional TCM therapy of "simplicity, convenience, low cost and experience".
I. Scope of home visits
1. Based on the combination of the four diagnostic methods of TCM and the application of the basic theories of TCM, individualized nursing programs are formulated to provide TCM nursing and health guidance for patients in daily life, health preservation and rehabilitation, diet and nutrition, and emotion, and establish personalized TCM health management files.
2. Provide all kinds of non-invasive and non-instrumental traditional Chinese medicine techniques such as moxibustion, pot therapy, scraping, ear point pill pressing, acupoint application, snap acupuncture therapy.
3. Provide TCM health education and instruction on health preservation and health care.
4. Provide TCM nursing services such as health care for the aged and home nursing guidance.

Monday to Friday: 07:50 -- 11:50; 13:00 -- 17:00 (statutory holidays otherwise).
Ⅳ. Medical treatment process
Patients make an appointment or register on the spot -- outpatient clinic -- outpatient doctors issue orders for TCM treatment, and the executive departments select TCM special treatment centers -- patients go to TCM special treatment centers for treatment after payment.
