Beijing and Hebei join hands to achieve win-win cooperation and set up specialties to benefit the common people. From October 29th to 30th, the on-site promotion meeting for the implementation of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Chinese Medicine Collaborative Development 2020 construction project sponsored by the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine was held at Hebei Medical Qigong Hospital. The meeting focused on the construction of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei traditional Chinese medicine cooperation development project, project implementation, budget execution, fund allocation, capacity improvement and other aspects to explain the tasks and goals and to allocate work to help the project unit in Hebei Province solve the urgent medical need and break through weak links , develop technical teams, add new service project cooperation goals, and effectively meet the service needs of the masses in the region for traditional Chinese medicine.

At the meeting, Weiyue, the chief physician of the Oncology Department of Dongfang Hospital of Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, told Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Leaders of the Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Health Commission and 24 hospitals in the three regions of Tianjin and Hebei reported the work experience of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Traditional Chinese Medicine Collaborative Development and Cooperation in Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Oriental Hospital. The introduction of five cooperation work priorities and work examples of the oncology department gave an account of the cooperation exploration process of the Eastern Hospital and the finally formed replicable cooperation model.
In 2020, Dongfang Hospital of Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Handan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Hebei Province will cooperate to build a specialized oncology alliance. The cross-regional TCM medical cooperation experience and mature cooperation model have established a long-term communication mechanism with Handan TCM Hospital. Through regular meetings, expert guidance, academic lectures, advanced training and teaching, joint scientific research, and telemedicine, they will carry out joint construction of cooperative specialties. Dongfang Hospital of Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine will make effective use of the platform ,built by the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, to give full play to the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine resources, assist Handan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine to clarify the positioning of oncology specialties, realize the effective integration of its own resources, and strengthen the construction of traditional Chinese medicine talents. They will continue to improve the comprehensive capacity of Handan Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital and provide high-quality traditional Chinese medicine medical services for the people in the region.
Background introduction
